Rehab: Recycling plastic to create design objects.
They want to give a second life to plastic waste by creating usual and design objects. Alexandre Tallec and Nicolas Voisard are about to create Rehab in the countryside of Quimper.
Yellow, blue, red, green... The shelves of Rehab's workshop take colors. Corks and other plastic packaging crushed and melted to be transformed into design objects. For a few weeks, Alexandre Tallec and Nicolas Voisard have been conducting a series of tests in their workshop in the heart of the Quimper countryside. Tests based on plastic corks, milk bottles and fishing nets have already been conclusive.

Five recycling machines

After an experience in design, in real estate products for the first and in packaging for recyclable products for the second, the two young graduates are embarking on a sustainable adventure. "We take what is already used to reduce, on our scale, the impact of consumption on the environment," explains Nicolas Voisard. The small business is based on the concept developed by Dutch designer Dave Hakkens. Since 2013, he has been sharing his experience on the Internet. The project, called Precious Plastic, is giving birth to small workshops all over the planet.
