Interview avec ALLRIM

Interview avec ALLRIM

What are the strengths of your company?

As chemists and plastics specialists, we have an R&D laboratory that allows us to develop our own polyurethane materials, evolve them according to HSE standards, and adapt them to our clients’ needs. We rely on three technological platforms: transparent chemistry, elastomers, and lightweight materials (foam and composites), where we have a scientific and technical edge, demonstrated by several patents.

What actions do you take for sustainable development?

Certified ISO 14001, AllRiM follows an environmentally and socially responsible approach by marketing products that comply with HSE standards, manufactured in safe, clean, and efficient facilities. Our goal is to reduce our carbon footprint by 25% by 2025 by integrating bio-based raw materials into our products and improving the energy efficiency of our processes.

Where are your markets located (geographically)?

Our clients are primarily based in France. We serve both SMEs with a strong regional presence and large international groups.

What is your perspective on the evolution of your profession?

Environmental constraints are driving us to evolve our technologies and product offerings by increasingly integrating the concept of product life cycles. New knowledge and skills must be implemented in partnership with our suppliers, clients, research organizations, and the French government.

What are your most notable innovations?

In transparent chemistry, we have patented for our Flexmarbre range a polyurethane binder for stone carpet-type floor coverings that can contain up to 90% bio-based raw materials.
In the field of elastomers, we have developed a new material with excellent resistance to abrasion and compression, which increases the lifespan of the parts we manufacture, particularly for extreme environment applications. We produce high-performance parts, such as our wheels for autonomous guided vehicles (AGVs), which are referenced by PSA.
We also work on lightweighting our parts for machine housings and transportation applications by offering foamed and composite structures incorporating natural reinforcing fibers such as flax.

What organizational changes are taking place in your company?

We plan to strengthen our sales teams to better serve our clients and expand in France and internationally.

Number of employees: 15
Location: Audincourt (Doubs), France
Markets: Automotive, Aerospace, Construction, Medical, Sports and Leisure
Expertise: We specialize in the formulation, processing, and implementation of polyurethane through the RIM process (Reaction Injection Molding). Our combined expertise in formulation and molding allows us to adapt our products to client needs and integrate new functionalities for connected or composite parts. Our know-how enables us to manufacture high-performance elastomer wear parts as well as technical and aesthetic subassemblies (covers, reinforcements, structural or design elements, etc.) for various industrial sectors.
