Presentation of APTE
APTE is a family-run SME founded in 1987 by Alain ZEDDA, a former engineer at VALEO. In 2013, Aldo ZEDDA, his son, took over from his father and decided to move the company from the Paris region to the Loiret (45230), in order to obtain more spacious premises (12,000 m²) and to be closer to major motorways.
The company specialises in plastics processing, particularly thick thermoforming with a maximum capacity of 3 m x 2 m. It is present in all sectors of activity for appearance parts and custom-made technical covers.
It also has real expertise thanks to a design office dedicated to the automotive sector, for designing handling platforms used to transport car components. This is why it is a first-tier supplier to French manufacturers RENAULT and STELLANTIS.
Flagship product
Today, APTE is breaking new ground with the acquisition of a "TWIN SHEET" thermoforming machine that can be used to manufacture double-skinned parts to reinforce technical covers, or to give inertia to handling trays.
