A major partnership to boost the plastics industry
Boost and support the French plastics industry in its developments, increase the visibility, showcase role of the FIP trade show and highligh the advantages and innovations of the plastics industry. These are the main objectives of the charter recently signed by ACDI, the Association of Plastics Manufacturers and Distributors, Polyvia, the Union of Polymer Processors, and Infopro Digital, the organizer of the FIP – France Innovation Plasturgie trade show.
Rhythm and visibility
After the scheduling disruptions caused by the Covid crisis, FIP - France Innovation Plasturgie will return to its traditional triennial cycle starting in 2026. The next FIP trade show will be held at Lyon Eurexpo from June 2 to 5, 2026 with 3D PRINT from June 2 to 4. "But the next 3D PRINT will take place from June 3 to 5, 2025,” Stéphanie Collot, FIP and 3D PRINT Exhibition Director.

Polyvia, ACDI, and INFOPRO DIGITAL wish to establish a triennial cycle of events. This cycle will start with the K trade fair in Düsseldorf in 2025, followed by FIP in 2026. The year after FIP (2027, 2030…), a thematic congress will be organized to review emerging trends, environmental issues, or other strategic topics for the future of the sector.
The aim of this schedule is to ensure the continuous influence of the French plastics and composites industry while increasing opportunities for meetings, exchanges, and promotion of the sector to all the professionnals.
Image and attractiveness
"The ambition is to join our strengths to increase FIP while continuing to enhance its reputation at the European level. No one should miss out on FIP. It is crucial to highlight the advantages of plastics to the entire industry, including public opinion. This renewed alliance should help improve the overall image of the sector and strengthen its attractiveness in terms of education and recruitment," explain Stéphanie Collot
