What are your most notable innovations?

We are able to offer virtual material cards that allow for very precise simulation of behavior during the injection of our products. A new way to showcase our most innovative ranges.

Among them is the THERMOFIL CIRCLE recycled product line, which now includes the Series 15. This new generation of glass fiber-reinforced recycled PP allows for weight reduction, using Sumika technology to ensure no compromise on technical performance compared to conventional glass fiber-reinforced PP.

What actions are you taking to promote sustainable development?

We have become aware of the societal importance of integrating sustainable development into all our choices and decisions. The production site in Saint Martin de Crau (13) has been equipped with photovoltaic panels as well as an adiabatic water cooling system, enabling energy savings.

Furthermore, as part of our commitment to sustainable development, Sumika Polymer Compounds has developed a wide range of eco-solutions based on natural fiber reinforcements and recycled resins. This represents a true innovation, providing benefits in terms of functionality, weight reduction, and processing.

Where are your markets located (geographically)?

SPC France distributes across Europe and the United Kingdom. SPC’s global network delivers to 32 countries worldwide, including Turkey, China, the USA, India, South Korea, and Japan.

How do you view the evolution of your profession?

We envision the evolution of our profession as an expansion of the services offered to our clients and specifiers, with increased use of various computer simulation tools and our dedicated research center during the design of parts and molds.

What organizational changes are taking place in your company?

SPC is proud to announce the opening of a new branch this year in Poznan, Poland. This city, located in the west of the country, has access to the highway network. One of the advantages of this location is its proximity to customers in Poland, as well as in Germany and the Czech Republic—a highly industrialized area with numerous automotive and home appliance manufacturers. SPC EU’s overall expansion strategy is to establish appropriately sized units as close as possible to our business partners.
