Reference color samples are a standard in design

Physical color samples remain essential despite the rise of digital technology. They allow us to validate the feasibility of colours, to ensure a reliable reference (colour, brightness) and to guarantee constistency throughout the production chain, regardless of screens or light conditions.

Used in particular by OEM and ODM in sectors such as automotive, aeronautics, railway, medical or household appliances, they are essential to achieve optimal precision and reproducibility.

For more than 20 years, GRAFE has accompanied its clients from the coloour idea to the final sample. His expertise covers the development with very strict tolerances and stability over time.

Thanks to a structured and collaborative process, GRAFE designs sample plates validated at each step, until obtaining a result in line with expectations.

👉 Result: a reliable and durable reference, essential for demanding projects and long production cycles.

FrontIQ Light Concept

When plastic innovation sublimates light and automotive luxury LEONHARD KURZ, Swarovski Mobility and lighting specialist SP3 unveil the FrontIQ Light Concept: an avant-garde vision of the automotive headlamp, where design, functionality and industrial performance converge. At the heart of the concept, an advanced lighting system integrating customizable Swarovski crystals, allowing precise control of light while creating true visual signatures. The lighthouse thus becomes an element of aesthetic and technological differentiation for builders.

On an industrial level, the FrontIQ Light Concept is based on a highly efficient 3K process, perfectly compatible with series production. This technology makes it possible to combine several plastic materials in a single manufacturing step, significantly reducing: • cycle times, • production costs, • carbon footprint. A protective PUR coating ensures durability and resistance, without compromising on optical depth or brightness. The process integrates easily with existing production lines, allows for the integration of heating elements for de-icing sensors and radars and opens the way to the use of recycled materials.

FrontIQ Light Concept thus illustrates the potential of the plastics industry as a driver of innovation, serving premium design, advanced functional performance and more sustainable production.

Atmospheric plasma surface treatment

The treatment provided by AcXys Technologies' equipment consists in the projection of a plasma jet on a surface which, by enabling an instantaneous chemical reaction to be carried out, confers new properties on the treated material. The main plastic materials will then present for a short time (from a few hours to a few days) different physical properties which, by modifying their wettability, will improve the adhesion of the assemblies.

Thus, bonding will be more efficient and the application of coatings, paints and inks will be more resistant on treated surfaces. The know-how of AcXys Technologies has made it possible to meet the demand from packaging manufacturers who want to avoid polluting chemical treatments and obtain better quality decoration results with eco-responsible treatment.

Rotary pad printing for the decoration of plastic parts

At ARINDIS, we develop and master industrial decoration solutions applied to plastic parts, meeting the precision and quality requirements of technical sectors, particularly in the paramedical field.
Rotary pad printing is one of the technologies we use to achieve precise and regular markings on cylindrical or revolution parts. This process allows to transfer a decoration directly onto the surface of the part thanks to a rotating pad synchronized with the rotation of the component, ensuring a continuous and homogeneous application.

In the paramedical sector, this type of marking plays an essential role. It notably allows to create precise visual references, graduations, or even functional graphic elements, essential for the use and reading of devices.

Rotary pad printing offers several major advantages:
  • High marking fineness, suitable for technical patterns or precision lines
  • Perfect regularity on cylindrical surfaces
  • Excellent industrial repeatability for series production
  • Durable aesthetic quality, compatible with the requirements of the paramedical sector
Thanks to this know-how, we support our clients in the enhancement and functionalization of their plastic parts, by providing reliable, precise decoration solutions adapted to the constraints of medical and paramedical applications.

Direct printing on technical parts – Mimaki UJF‐6042 MkII

Our solution is based on the Mimaki UJF‐6042 MkII printer, designed to allow direct printing on technical plastic parts.

This technology uses flat UV LED printing to apply patterns, logos, technical markers or safety indications directly on the injected components. It offers a very fine resolution, up to 1200 × 1200 dpi, allowing precise details and faithful reproduction of graphic elements, even on complex surfaces. The UV ink used is resistant to scratches, solvents and mechanical stress, which guarantees the durability of the prints. The machine can process parts up to 610 × 420 mm and 153 mm thick, offering great flexibility for different types of components. Instant drying by LED UV allows a fast production, without affecting the quality or the finish of the parts.

This solution allows for the direct integration of decoration and technical identification on plastic parts. It thus combines aesthetics and functionality, while adapting to industrial requirements of performance and robustness.
