Description
The FAVIA project is a four-year collaborative program bringing together MATERI’ACT (FORVIA Group), two innovative SMEs (Aryballe and POLLEN Metrology), and the IPC technical center in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. It aims to develop polymer materials with a very low carbon footprint, incorporating more recycled content, with a goal of reducing CO₂ emissions by up to 85% by 2030.
Given the variability of recycled materials, the project seeks to ensure consistent performance of the finished products. To achieve this, FAVIA leverages artificial intelligence to predict optimal formulations and manufacturing parameters. The project benefits from strong support from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region and aligns with the objectives of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) for research and innovation.
